Merit Systems is an a16z-backed startup pioneering open-source economics.

The project encompassed all brand touchpoints from naming, logo, color system, landing page, pitch deck, funding materials, office signage, to merchandise. Working closely with the engineering team, I translated complex technical concepts into an engaging visual narrative and intuitive user experience. The design system proved highly effective, generating 100K landing page views, 30K GitHub waitlist signups, and 1K+ job applications in the first week, with coverage in CNBC's funding announcement.
